Bloom Landscaping was asked to do a redesign of this Rouse Hill home’s backyard to make it functional for the client’s disabled child. The pool was specially designed for easy use, no steps were used in the entire landscape project.
Multiple areas were created - an undercover entertaining spot, a grassed area and pool enclosure. Each with different textures and materials, including Creama Pacific marble, spotted gum decking and bluestone stepping stones. The rendered retaining walls were softened by dichondra (silver fall). Ficus Hilli were used around the boundary for height and privacy.
The stepping stones and curved garden bed were used in contrast to the straight edges to create an organic feel. Irrigation and lighting were installed throughout the entire backyard finishing off the landscape project perfectly.
